Basic care includes all activities in the areas of personal hygiene, nutrition and mobility. We support you where necessary and at the same time promote your existing skills (activating care).
Our focus areas:
Personal hygiene
Washing, showering, bathing, dental care, combing, shaving, help with dressing and undressing.
Nutrition
Bite-sized preparation, help with eating, monitoring of fluid intake.
Mobility
Getting up, going to bed, repositioning, walking, standing, climbing stairs.
Excretion
Accompanying to the toilet, changing incontinence material, stoma care.
Empathy & Discretion
We know that many areas of basic care are very intimate. Our staff are trained to respect feelings of shame and to carry out care as discreetly and respectfully as possible.

Care level & Costs
Basic care services are covered by the care insurance fund for recognized care levels (2-5) (benefits in kind). We will be happy to assist you in applying for a care level or with an appeal.
